The bill provides for amendments to Art. 80 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
In particular, the norm is repealed according to which people's deputies cannot be prosecuted, detained or arrested without the consent of the Verkhovna Rada.
Earlier, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky said that his bill on depriving deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of immunity concerns only the possibility of bringing them to criminal liability, but does not provide for the lifting of immunity for political decisions.
