During the winter, there are fewer and fewer moving in the various ports, as the boat is on land. During the next week, therefore, a meeting for boat cooperation will be arranged at the police house in Kungsbacka.
- We see the problem now with people picking up their boats, they put up at the standings, and then go home. This means that there are fewer people in the ports, which is good for the thief as they can go undisturbed and smoke, says Anna Lindqvist.
"We hope to reduce the thefts"What is at risk of being stolen is, among other things, engines, boat fittings and other theft requirements that are stored in the boats. During the meeting, we will discuss how, as a boat owner, you can protect yourself against burglary and theft.
