To increase the well-being of travelers, Stockholm's bus shelters now receive a facelift. On large digital screens, travelers get information about disruptions in bus traffic but also community information that can be useful.

- This is not going to cost taxpayers and travelers anything. The screens will be financed through the advertising revenues shown on the screens, says Kristoffer Tamsons (M), Traffic Region Council in Stockholm County.

37 bus sheds

The screens should also contain advertisements to increase revenue for public transport. Some of the planned bus shelters are already in place at Fridhemsplan, Hötorget, Norrmalmstorg, Odengatan, Stureplan and the Technical University (KTH). In total, 37 new bus shelters are planned around the inner city.
