It was on Saturday, August 31, that a woman of 40 years of age was cut into the Emporia shopping mall in Malmö. The police received the alarm at 15.26.
- We got an alarm that a woman was cut. When the patrol arrived, they found a woman with cutting injuries. She was taken to hospital by ambulance, said Jimmy Modin, press informant at the police.
The knife that was suspected to have been used in the incident was seized by the police.
24-year-old arrestedA 24-year-old man was arrested at the scene, who is now arrested for probable cause for attempted murder.

According to police, the woman and the arrested man are familiar with each other, and Sydsvenskan has previously reported that both were employed in a restaurant at the mall.
