Open art is over for this time. For the first time, the organizers have noticed by an audience that has come here just for the sake of the exhibition and this year too, the exhibition has aroused feelings.

- Summer has been very nice and the response mixed. It has been very good, but there has also been criticism. You have missed great tangible works of art that you may associate with Open art, but it always is.

Weather and wind affect the art

One notable work has been the green tentacles that protrude from the windows of the castle, which also suffered from some problems.

- It started as early as the first day when storms came that we are not used to. Then several pieces were broken and even though we got replacements here, it was winds that made us tear up. As someone at the castle said "This castle is hard to take, we notice," says Elin Persson.

- Weather and wind are always included. Because we have the art outdoors for three months, it is quite exposed. Then we can expect some maintenance.

Packing goes faster than mounting

So now you pack up the artwork and according to Elin Persson, things have started well and they are already ahead of the time schedule.

- Now we are ready for an autumn. We are packing up, but are very happy and may have already started planning for the future, she smiles.

Previous years one or more works of art have been retained, how will this year be?

- Yes, there may be one or a few that will stop, it will show the future. Whatever it may be, I cannot go into it now, but it is rather they who are the happy owners of the artwork who can tell about it.
