He said that he was a Muslim and that at about noon he heard voices that insulted God and ordered him to be killed, ”said Jacques.
The prosecutor also noted that the attacker initially confused his first victim with another man with whom he was in a quarrel several years ago. All subsequent statements by the detainee were confused and inconsistent.
It is clarified that the man was examined by a psychiatrist who diagnosed him with psychosis, which was accompanied by "paranoid delirium relating to various topics, including mystical and religious."
Previously, as a result of an attack at a metro station in Villeurbanne near French Lyon, one person was killed and nine injured.
