• Attack: An Afghan kills a person with slashes and injures eight others in Lyon
  • Wide Angle: Islamic State 2.0: the terror that is coming

The aggressor of Villeurbanne (Lyon), who yesterday killed a person and left eight wounded, has "partially acknowledged the facts" and said he did so because "he heard voices that insulted God and ordered him to kill," as indicated this Sunday the attorney general of Lyon, Nicolas Jacquet.

The attacker, who was arrested yesterday shortly after stabbing several people near a subway station, is an Afghan in his thirties. Shortly before the aggression he had consumed a significant amount of cannabis.

Regarding those injured in the attack, Jacquet has reported that the three people who were serious yesterday are already out of danger. "There is no fear for their lives," he said. Two people are still admitted today.
