A paraglider used as a 'double' flight crashed immediately after taking off, with two occupants, from the area of Capanna Margherita, the mountain refuge on Monte Rosa at an altitude of 4,560 meters.

On board two Austrian hikers, aged 42 and 32 years. The paraglider lost altitude causing the two occupants to fall, falling into the area of the 'Via dei Francesi', on the Italian side of the Monte Rosa massif.
