Artists such as Samir and Viktor, Moneybrother, Backyard babies, Millencolin, Molly Sandén and Tomas di Leva - to name a few. This year's edition of Eksjö city party was attended by many artists and thousands of visitors.

- We are very happy, we were lucky with the weather, says Maria Stejdahl, one of the organizers for Eksjö city party.

Police intervention

The police had strengthened their presence and a cycling patrol was also in place. The police were allowed to do just over 15 interventions during Friday and Saturday. The majority has dealt with the treatment of intoxicated persons and disorders of order.

- It has been a calm from the police point of view, says Monica Bergström, who is the police spokesperson.

The organizer also describes the festival as calm. Sexual offenses, brawls and drunkenness are crimes that are not uncommon during festivals when a lot of people gather. In 2017, nine cases of sexual offenses were reported at Eksjö city party. This year has been much calmer.

- I can't see that we have received any sexual harassment notification, says Monica Bergström on Sunday morning.

Threatened police

The incident that stands out is when the police were to remove a man in his 20s during Saturday night due to disorder.

- The man opposed the police intervention and behaved menacingly. The 20-year-old was arrested and taken to the police station. He was arrested on suspicion of threatening an official, says Monica Bergström.

Full even on the small scenes

The forecast was just over 25,000 visitors. On Sunday morning, the organizer had no figure yet how many who actually visited the party.

- We had a lot of people in the area. It became full even on the small stages, says Maria Stejdahl.
