The Sharjah Criminal Court has tried a case in which three people of Asian nationality are charged with murdering another African national with sticks, after a brawl between them over the sale of alcohol.

Details of the case date back to January 31, when a report was received that a person was killed from African nationality as a result of being stabbed and receiving a series of blows using sticks. The first defendant confessed to beating the victim with a stick, and the defendants were then referred to the prosecution, and then to the court that faced the defendants with the charges against them, but they denied it.

The Public Prosecution requested the conviction of the accused, and the court decided to postpone the case until September 24, to call witnesses.
