The man was arrested in his absence on Tuesday afternoon and could be arrested the following morning. In connection with the police investigation, objects were discovered that caused 30 people to be evacuated from their homes in Torvalla and the police's national bomb protection was called to the scene.

The prosecutor's arrest request shows that the man is suspected of several serious crimes in recent months. After a lengthy detention hearing on Saturday, the man was arrested, on probable cause, for multiple crimes.

People robbery in May

He was arrested on suspicion of assisting in serious human trafficking in Östersund in early May and in connection with that also in the case of abuse.

Ignition hats and explosives

He was also detained for preparation for the destruction of public property, serious crime and violation of the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act. The latter suspicions concern an address in Torvalla in Östersund.

- The police found explosives and ignition hats in an apartment, among others, prosecutor Åse Schoultz told SVT Nyheter Jämtland.

By September 13, prosecution should be brought.
