“According to the law that comes into force, only the performing arts organizations themselves and persons authorized by them can trade tickets. The sale of tickets at a price above face value is prohibited, ”TASS quoted the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture, Elena Yampolskaya.
Now, organizers of cultural events to protect against resellers can issue personalized tickets, for the passage of which will require the presentation of an identity document.
In addition, organizations can now refuse to accept preferential tickets. The minimum time limit for returning a ticket is 72 hours before the event.
“Now, dealers will no longer be able to hand over unrealized tickets to the box office shortly before the start of the performance, and their“ business ”will become unprofitable,” added Yampolskaya.
