Celebrations in parks and a holiday for first-graders: why the line was canceled in some schools in Moscow

On August 21, information appeared that schools in the capital were allegedly recommended to cancel the solemn rulers on September 2. This was reported by the agency "Moscow" with reference to the deputy head of the Department of Education and Science of the city of Moscow Vladimir Razdin.

“September 1 is not held at schools. The beginning of the school year was postponed to September 2, Monday. This year, 114.2 thousand first-graders will come to the first grade, and the total contingent - from preschoolers to graduates - will be 1.5 million. We will not hold third-party solemn rulers for security purposes. From Monday, September 2, so as not to break the week, we recommend that managers immediately start the school day. September 1 at VDNH there will be a city holiday for first-graders, ”the Moscow agency quoted Razdin as saying.

Later, the news was deleted due to "incorrect citation." A source at City Hall told Kommersant that in fact the line was not banned.

Meanwhile, the portal of the Moscow City Hall noted that "metropolitan schools themselves decide when to celebrate Knowledge Day."

Earlier, the Ministry of Education refused to give regional authorities recommendations on which day to appoint a solemn line and the first classes for schoolchildren. “Each region will determine the date on its own,” the representative of the ministry said.

On Sunday, September 1, the VDNH will host a city-wide line-up within the framework of the annual forum “City of Education”. It is noted that the event will be able to attend all interested students - in full dress and accompanied by teachers. There will be a ceremonial line of the Cadet Movement of Moscow, a charity race, hackathons, excursions, quests and sports.

Due to this event, in particular, the line in the school in the Chertanovo district was canceled, the mother of one of the students told RT. For the same reason, the line will not take place at the Lianozov school.

In addition, the line will be held on September 1 in some Moscow parks. The deputy director of one of the schools of the North-West Administrative District confirmed to Interfax that the solemn line will be held on September 1 in the district park, and it will not be on the first school day. According to her, “parents of schoolchildren and teachers are dissatisfied with this.” At the same time, in the neighboring school, the lineup will take place on the first school day - September 2.

Many parents opposed the transfer line. In particular, Svetlana Stroganova, head of the Foster Family Alphabet Club club, whose daughter Olga is going to first grade this year, wrote on Facebook that she didn’t want to “rattle September 1 with children at VDNKh”.

“I don’t want that. I want “the first time in first grade”: for the child to go to the ruler in front of the school, and his first teacher then brings him to the class for his first lesson in his life. On my day off, I don’t want to hang around with a disabled child and the whole kagal, it’s not clear where through all of Moscow where there will be a crowd of strangers to listen to whose words are incomprehensible and still not go to first grade for the first time, but to go home, ”she said indignantly .

Some mothers and fathers of schoolchildren noted that no one canceled the lines in the educational institutions where their children go.

“We will have a line, everything is fine with this, the beginning, as we were informed, began at 10:00 on September 2,” said Muscovite Daria, RT, whose son is going to the second grade at a school in Danilovsky district. - The line will take place on the street. Last year it was held in the assembly hall, but it was very stuffy. ”

“Of course, the school line is a good tradition, such a small celebration for the child before the new school year,” she added.

Without changes, the beginning of the school year will be held in a number of schools in the west of Moscow.

“Everything is discussed in parental chat: buying flowers and so on. But there is no information about the cancellation of the rulers, ”said Fariza, the mother of a first-grader going to school in Dorogomilov. - And from friends from other schools, I also did not hear about this. September 2 at 8:30 in the morning we will have this holiday, everything is solemn, with flowers ... As far as I know, everything will take place on the street, in the school yard, and then everyone will go to school, the children will be divorced into classes. If our lineup were canceled, I would be indignant only because the child was already set up to have such a holiday. ”

In one of the schools in Otradnoye, the lineup was canceled, but the students “just come smart and sit in the classroom,” parents say.

The open universal ruler was also canceled at the educational institution in the Levoberezhniy district. According to Igor, the father of one of the students, on September 2, children will come to school at 8:15 and immediately go to class. The grand opening of the school year is planned only for the first and eleventh grades.

“But we have a construction site nearby, and for safety reasons, children cannot be kept under cranes. The first and eleventh grades, apparently, will hold the first bell in the assembly hall, ”he added.

In one of the schools, Yasenev will also arrange a line for first-graders only.

“For everyone else, it will be held in the assembly hall of our building. Parents of the second and fourth grades are not invited, since September 2 is already a school day, ”said the mother of one of the schoolchildren, Elena, to RT.

Hope and her children live in the north-east of Moscow. At their school, as well as last year, there will be no classic line on the first school day. School yards are already lined with tents and stalls with floral patterns, most likely in the framework of the festival "Flower jam". The line will instead be held at the school gym, inside.

“There is simply nowhere to run the line, there is no free space,” says Nadezhda. - On the morning of September 2, the teacher will meet the children in the backyard and take them to school, where the celebrations will take place. We were not told that the line would be canceled, but our whole class would not have paid attention to it. It won’t - and it won’t.
