KHARTOUM (Reuters) - A judicial body in Khartoum on Tuesday charged the impoverished wealth and dealing with foreign exchange with ousted Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir during his third trial.

A source said that the session, which took place in the hall of the Judicial Training Institute, ended after the interrogation of Bashir and hearing a number of witnesses. "After the interrogation and the hearing, the court indicted the indecent wealth and dealing foreign exchange illegally to Bashir."

The tribunal announced the next hearing on Saturday.

Al-Bashir's lawyer, Ahmed Ibrahim al-Tahir, had asked the court during the last session to release his client under a normal guarantee.

The court rejected Ahmed Ibrahim's request for the suspect's release.

On the other hand, revealed the German ambassador in Khartoum, Ulrich Wilhelm Klokner, that the visit of German Foreign Minister Heiko Mas, to Sudan will include meetings with the makers of the revolution in the country, and inspect the field of sit-in.

The ambassador said in statements to «Sudan», yesterday: «The German Foreign Minister's visit comes the culmination and follow-up to the visit of a German delegation to Sudan two weeks ago, and Germany is one of the European countries most interested in the Sudanese issue.
