Around 20 people were shot this Saturday in the cities of Midland and Odessa in western Texas possibly by two shooters who would circulate in separate vehicles, local television and police have reported.

"A subject (possibly 2) is driving around Odessa by randomly shooting people," Odessa police said on Facebook.

"There are currently multiple shooting victims. The suspect has just kidnapped a truck from the US mail carrier," police said.

One of the suspects was arrested in Midland after a police officer was shot on Interstate I-20 and several people in the area were also hit by bullets.
