Investigations by the Public Prosecution indicated that the defendants had passed a number of vehicles containing technical malfunctions and had not passed a previous technical examination, because they did not meet the requirements of the irrigated safety standards.They fell in the hands of the Dubai Police, which ambushed them to instruct a source to negotiate with them to pass an invalid vehicle.
The mediator charged in the case said he worked as a driver in a private company and learned from his uncle that there was a possibility of earning money by bringing in technically invalid cars and passing the examination by two acquaintances at ENOC. The fourth defendant in the case, the technical examiner, confessed that he used to pass the invalid vehicles to enter the system and falsify the result, in conjunction with his assistant, as the latter examines the vehicle's brakes, while he examines the rest of the parts, and then passes them, pointing out that he was handling 100 dirhams For each vehicle passing the examination.
The defendant said that the vehicle used by the police to catch him was suffering from an oil leak, spreading in an unsafe manner, and needs to change metal linings in parts connected to the engine, in addition to other faults that make it completely unfit to walk, but he exceeded all that and falsified the result. In the system and granted a certificate of validity, and immediately arrested him.
