Roger Federer dispatched Friday his match of the third round of the US Open in 1:20 at the expense of the British Daniel Evans (58) that he dominated 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.
"I'm very happy, I quickly found my rhythm and I had things under control in return, service, exchange ... I knew how to dominate everything I wanted and I found that I had a lot of leeway, so it saved me a lot of energy for the future: to play a match without stress is a lot of good, "commented the world N.3 who will face in the round of 16 David Goffin ( 15th) or Pablo Carreno (69th).
"The opponents are getting better and better now and it was important for me to prove to myself that I could do a full match, not like the first two where I had a lot of trouble in the beginning," he said.
"And there I feel 100% physically, after the first game it was still stress, tension, aches ... and now I'm going into this fourth round with a good feeling, "he warned.
