“The United States was not involved in the catastrophic accident during the final preparations for the launch of the Safira launch vehicle at launch pad number one in Semnan in Iran,” the American president wrote on Twitter.
He also wished Iran good luck in establishing the causes of the incident.
Earlier, the Associated Press, citing satellite imagery data, reported that a rocket exploded at a launch site in the Iranian province of Semnan.
