Her sweet and sensitive songs inspired the greatest musicians in the world: octagonal Cuban Omara Portuondo, bid farewell to the stage on Friday night and she chose the festival "Jazz à la Villette" in Paris to give her audience a last kiss, a "utimo beso", the name of his farewell tour.

On stage, the doyenne of Cuban music is accompanied by the new generation: Capverdienne Mayra Andrade and the sisters of the Franco-Cuban duo Ibeyi . At 88, she now sits to sing, but keeps this voice that has won her a global audience.

In his repertoire, the famous bolero " Bésame mucho ", and many repeats of the traditional Cuban repertoire. The tour, film and recordings of the now legendary Buena Vista Social Club musicians she joins are heralded. She has sold with the group nearly 8 million albums worldwide.
