At 13 o'clock on Friday, a man was arrested for involvement in the double murder in Denmark earlier this summer, according to police on his website.

The arrest was made in northern Stockholm County and was carried out by the Stockholm Police response force together with the police group in Stockholm Nord, which works specifically against the serious firearms violence. Police say the arrest went quietly.

The arrested man will be requested to be extradited to Denmark.

Three people have already given out

It was on June 25 that two Swedes, 23 and 21 years old, were shot dead in the Copenhagen suburb of Herlev. At least ten shots were fired from automatic weapons and a gun, and it has been reported that the murders have links to settlements between criminal groups in northwest Stockholm.

Three people have been detained in Denmark before. The men are between 17 and 21 years old. All refuse a crime.
