New aircraft was delivered to Skavsta - for training

- Great fun for us to get some new educational material. The aircraft is a few years old, but it is still the same technology used today. The students and we are really excited about getting something new screwed up, ”says Björn Axelsson, education manager at Aeronautical Technical Training.

What will you do with the aircraft?

- Students will learn how to control, maintain and repair this type of aircraft. We have missed this particular segment. We have not had small clean turbine engine aircraft before, so it is great fun.

So now will the students learn something completely new?

- Yes, hopefully they do, says Björn Axelsson with a laugh.

- We have a unique flight training in high school. It is a costly education. But in order for it to continue to maintain high quality, you simply need material, then an aircraft is needed, ”says Urban Granström (S), municipal council at Nyköping Municipality.

The aircraft was built in the 1980s and has previously operated as an ambulance flight.
