A man was arrested by Ertzaintza agents yesterday afternoon, Thursday, accused of holding his former partner for 6 days and forcing her to have sex .
The events began last Saturday, the 24th, when the author approached his former partner in Bilbao, the Basque Security Department reported Friday.
According to the victim's complaint, the 37-year-old man held her until yesterday through the use of force, between insults, threats and physical aggressions, forcing her to have sexual relations without her consent.
On yesterday afternoon, the woman felt unwell and the man agreed to transfer her to the emergency room of a hospital in the capital of Biscay, where an Ertzaintza patrol proceeded to identify her.
The man, who provided false information about his identity, assaulted one of the policemen and tried to flee, but was arrested immediately.
After assisting the woman for various injuries, it was found that the man presented a restraining order towards her , in addition to two detention requisitions in Bilbao and Ibiza.

Two witnesses informed an urban guard patrol in the Casco Viejo that a man was harassing a woman from whom he had a restraining order. The agents verified that the aforementioned order in force existed for which he was arrested.
