North Korea Supreme People's Conference held again, August 29 18:55

In North Korea, the Supreme People's Congress, the national parliament, seems to have been held again on April 29, following April. It is unusual for the Supreme People's Conference to be held twice a year, and as it justifies a series of missile launches, it will be noted whether it presents any policy on US-North Korea talks about denuclearization.

North Korea has announced that it will hold the Supreme People's Conference on the 29th, which will determine the basic policy of the country, personnel of national institutions, and revision of laws.

The state-run media has so far not disclosed whether the Supreme People's Conference has been held, but it has been held in April and has been held twice a year since 2014.

For the past month, North Korea has fired seven seemingly short-range ballistic missiles, condemning the US and South Korea for joint military exercises.

In response to a series of launches, the United Nations Security Council held an extraordinary meeting on 27th this month, and the three countries of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany that called for talks said that it was a clear violation of the Security Council resolution. However, North Korea has repelled in the discourse announced on the 29th, "Ignoring the war exercises that are taking place in the south and making a point to our weapons development."

The agenda of the Supreme People's Conference has not been clarified, but as North Korea justifies launching missiles, it will be noticed whether it will present any policy on the US-North Korea talks on denuclearization.
