“To ensure that all of the federal government’s resources are focused on the approaching storm, I decided to send our vice president Mike Pence to Poland this weekend instead of me,” Trump said.

He noted that he had reported this by telephone to Polish President Andrzej Dude.

According to Trump, he will pay a visit to Poland in the near future.

Bloomberg reported earlier that Trump canceled his visit to Poland due to a hurricane.

Also, the Polish media, citing sources, wrote that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko refused to travel to Poland due to the fact that Warsaw did not send such an invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
