When consumers shop for food, only a few believe that environmental and sustainability are the most important. This shows a new study from SLU, Sweden's Agricultural University. The most important thing for consumers, however, is good quality and that the food is cheap and Swedish.
SVT News West stood outside a grocery store in Gothenburg and asked the question what is most important when shopping for food.
- I usually choose either cheap or organic most, says student Simon Moregård.
