“The presence of NATO on Polish soil is growing. And I am pleased with the speed with which this has been happening over the past few years. Five years ago, there were 500 American soldiers in Poland, now 5,000 US and NATO troops, ”TASS quoted the prime minister.
Moravecki also said that he expects a positive and constructive dialogue with US President Donald Trump during his visit to Poland.
Earlier Moravecki advocated the creation of a new NATO base in the country.
In June, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg supported an increase in the US military presence in Poland.
