“We are pleased to welcome national security adviser John Bolton, who arrived to discuss regional security issues and strengthen diplomatic relations,” the statement said.
It is planned that Bolton will meet with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei.
According to the adviser, during the visit he intends to discuss the sanctions imposed on Minsk.
Bolton had previously visited Ukraine.
