The case of a Gulf father accused of smashing his son's phone was run over by the Fujairah Misdemeanor Court.

The defendant admitted before the court to destroy his son's phone, after he was on his usual visit to check on his condition and ask about his needs, while the Sharia court allocated him after the divorce of his wife and the decision of custody of the son for a year.

He pointed out that while he was inspecting his son's phone, he found that his son was hiding behind a girl's account in a social networking program (Facebook), and his son impersonates her and displays pictures that do not belong to him, which aroused his anger and lost his temper, especially since the age of his son 12 years, wondering «Do I leave my son without education to practice what he wants on social networking sites and keep a viewer? Or do I play a role as a father? ''

The details of the case are due to the receipt of a police report by the defendant, who said that the child's father had infringed their son and broke his phone by running over him.

The defense lawyer said before the court that it is the duty of the father to evaluate the behavior of his son if he finds warps, especially if his son is young and does immoral acts that will affect him in the future, pointing out that the charge is incorrect, the phone belongs to the father who bought it for his son, It is inconceivable for a father to infringe on his son's money because it was originally his money.
