The International Astronomy Center predicted that next Saturday will be the Islamic New Year in the UAE and many Islamic countries, by 99%, pointing out that most of the Islamic world will investigate the crescent of the month of Muharram 1441 AH on Friday 30 August 2019, and that day The crescent is difficult to use with a telescope from the far west of the Muslim world and most of the two continents, and since the sighting of the crescent is possible on Friday in parts of the Muslim world, it is expected to be Saturday, August 31, Islamic New Year and the month of Muharram.

"For Muslim countries where the sighting of the crescent is required locally or visually only, it is expected that Sunday 1 September will be the first month of Muharram," said Mohammed Shaukat Odeh, director of the International Astronomy Center.

The Center published a detailed map showing the possibility of seeing the crescent of the month of Muharram on Friday 30 August, showing that the sighting of the crescent is not possible either by the telescope or by the naked eye of uncolored areas. From the areas in pink color, the crescent can be seen with the naked eye in the case of complete atmospheric clarity and monitoring by an experienced observer, in addition to seeing the crescent is possible with the naked eye of areas located in green color.
