“At the beginning of the fourth, Aliska died,” Leikutsis wrote on the social network.
Irina Kasimova, press officer of the Russian diplomatic mission in Ankara, told RIA Novosti that the girl died on August 28.
“According to Turkish doctors, after repeated resuscitation attempts, cardiac arrest was detected,” she said.
The embassy expressed condolences to the family and friends of the child.
On August 18, a 12-year-old girl was hospitalized in serious condition after her hand was sucked into a pool pipe at the Sunhill Hotel in Bodrum.
Employees of the hotel where the incident occurred are detained and are on bail.
