The first success of OM this season is tarnished: the match of Ligue 1 between Nice and Marseille (1-2) was interrupted ten minutes after banners and homophobic songs in stands, in full fight of the authorities against the homophobia in the stadiums.

A little earlier, Lille, 4th, dominated Saint-Etienne 3-0 thanks to a double of the promising striker Victor Osimhen, top scorer of the championship with four achievements.

. Arm wrestling

It is a tussle that seems to engage between certain groups of supporters and instances. The government and the League want to reinforce the fight against homophobia in stadiums this season through tougher penalties.

The referee Clément Turpin has therefore whistled the interruption of the match Nice-Marseille after homophobic songs ("The Marseillais is p ...") and provocative banners playing on the words: "Welcome to the group Ineos (the new owner of Nice, which also has a cycling team, ed), in Nice also we like the pedal ". Then "Instance: full parking for more gay stadiums".

Is the interruption of meetings the correct method? "We will not stop every game whenever there are morons who act, otherwise we will never play, it's anything," said the Nice player Wylan Cyprien at the microphone of Canal Plus.

"Since the dawn of time there are insults between the fans, it's part of the game," he added, adding that he was "against all discrimination whether it is gays, racists."

On Twitter, the Secretary of State for Gender Equality, Marlene Schiappa, has welcomed the decision of the referee Clément Turpin, "whose commitment to respect in football is known" and denounced "a homophobic banner (who) dirty the stands ".

To return to the athlete, Marseille has finally won his first success this season in Ligue 1. His rookie attack Dario Benedetto (31) has opened his meter in his new colors and Dimitri Payet scored on penalty (73). OM of André Villas-Boas is 13th with four points.

. Nugget

Just before, Lille, at home, outclassed Saint-Etienne 3-0, thanks to a promising young striker Victor Osimhen. Did Losc strike a blow by recruiting Nigerian from Charleroi? The future will tell, but the 20-year-old enlightened the evening by signing a double against the St Etienne, as he had done during the first day against Nantes.

He is now leading the scorers with four goals, as he discovers the championship of France.

Lille regain the victory after losing to Amiens 1-0. The Nordiques, dolphins of the PSG last season, are at the foot of the podium, behind Rennes, Lyon and Paris.
