“The IMF only gives loans so that we can pay back previous debts, fulfill the political and economic requirements of the United States, and quickly sell transnationals land, ports, railways and critical infrastructure,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

As Muraev noted, Ukraine needs to start earning, rather than asking for loans, as this is a matter of country's survival.

“The country should start earning, not beg, and this is not a matter of national pride, but survival,” he added.

Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said that the country needed a long-term program of cooperation with the IMF in the amount of $ 5-10 billion.

In August 2018, the head of the Ukrainian political party Osnova, Andrey Nikolayenko, said that the Ukrainian authorities did not have a plan for the development of the country and it was constantly in a “begging position”.
