According to her, at present there are many corruption risks in the Ukrainian defense industry system.
“For example, abuses are possible when purchasing components from Russia. Today, Ukroboronprom resolved the issue of import substitution for 60% of parts; for the remaining 40%, they still have not found a replacement, ”she said.
The deputy also added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine still have a large number of equipment produced in Russia.
Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danilyuk said that the country's military-industrial complex (MIC) is “in rather poor condition.”
On August 14, Ukroboronprom announced the threat of a halt to the work of the Kharkov Design Bureau named after Morozov (HCMB).
