Libya27 August 2019 "Many dead" in a shipwreck off the Libyan coast are reported by the telephone service Alarm Phone, which during the night had collected a request for assistance from a boat in difficulty with about a hundred migrants on board.

Alarm Phone reports having spoken to the Libyan authorities who intervened and recovered about 90 people.

"It is still unclear - he explains in a tweet - how many are dead and how many survivors. These are your deaths in Europe. Your deterrence policy kills."
