Arrested 19-year-old known from drug addiction

The murder of the mother and the doctor happened on Monday morning, before several witnesses at Ribersborg. Later that evening, a 19-year-old man was arrested, who was later arrested.

He is likely to be suspected of assisting with murder and serious weapons crime.

According to Sydsvenskan, the 19-year-old is to be linked to the car that was found burnt out on Stadiongatan shortly after the murder, and which the police suspect is the getaway car.

The 19-year-old car owner is one of the twelve people charged with serious drug offenses in February 2019.

The indictment came after several months of police tensions at Drottninghög, where police and prosecutors believed the defendants were part of a drug network that controlled the trafficking of cannabis and cocaine at Drottninghög.

But the arrested 19-year-old had no leading role in the network. Rather, according to police investigative logs, it appears that he had a role to pack and portion out the drug on behalf of those higher up in the hierarchy. He also maintained contacts with customers.

Before that, he had only been convicted of minor crimes such as drug offenses and ill-treatment.

Then he lived at Queen's High with his family. Queen Hog ​​is a socially vulnerable area that is identified as a risk area by the police.

Early in the morning of April 24, the 19-year-old and several other people were arrested on suspicion of serious drug crime. He was detained for several months until the court in May released the suspects during the ongoing hearing.

The trial is still ongoing and no verdict has been dropped.

Thus, the suspected 19-year-old has only been out on foot for just over three months before he is again freed. This time on probable grounds suspected of assisting in the murder of the toddler mother in Ribersborg and serious arms crime.
