Burger King launched in April in the United States a version without meat, but the comparable taste, of its iconic burger, the "Whopper".

After Burger King and his vegetarian "Whopper", KFC will experiment with meatless meat, the American fast-food chain known for its fried chicken announced on Monday. A test will be conducted during a single day and in a single restaurant - Tuesday in Atlanta, Georgia - before the offer is potentially extended to the entire United States based on customer feedback.

KFC (for Kentucky Fried Chicken) has teamed up with Wall Street-listed vegan start-up Beyond Meat to offer chicken wings and vegetable protein nuggets.
