The second day of the US Open on Tuesday will see the entry in the running of world No.1 and defending champion Naomi Osaka, as well as world No.2 Rafael Nadal.
Osaka, whose place at the top of the female hierarchy is at stake in New York, faces the Russian Anna Blinkova (84) in opening program on the giant court Arthur-Ashe.
For his part, Nadal will open the night session on the same court against the Australian John Millman (60) who had dropped Roger Federer last year in the 8th finals.
Grandstand spectators will be able to enjoy a duel between the two Canadians expected at the highest level in the years to come: Felix Auger-Aliassime (19 to 19 years) and Denis Shapovalov (33 to 20 years).
The public of the court Louis-Armstrong will be tempted to stay late to attend the show of the whimsical Australian Nick Kyrgios (30th), scheduled late in the evening against the American Steve Johnson (86th).
