The United Arab Emirates yesterday condemned the Houthi militias' attempts to target the city of Jizan in Saudi Arabia with six ballistic missiles.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia over these terrorist attacks against civilians.

It affirmed its full support to the brothers in the Kingdom and its support and support in all measures taken to protect its security and stability and support all actions taken in the face of terrorism.

The statement pointed out that the continuation of these attacks illustrates the nature of the danger facing the region from the Houthi coup against the state in Yemen, and stresses the need to continue to address it to ensure the security and stability of the region.

Bahrain also condemned yesterday the launching of Houthi terrorist militias ballistic missiles towards Saudi Arabia Jizan.

The Bahraini Foreign Ministry praised the Arab coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen and its response to these cowardly terrorist acts, and reiterated its "unwavering stance and standing in line with Saudi Arabia against anyone who tries to compromise its security, stability and support in its actions to combat terrorism at the regional and international levels." Stressing the need for the international community to take deterrent measures against Houthi militias and all terrorist organizations and all those who support or finance them in order to maintain international peace and security.

The Arab coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen, announced yesterday, the interception and downing of a drone in the airspace of Yemen fired by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias from Jawf towards Saudi Arabia.

Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said all attempts by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia to launch drones were doomed to failure.

He stressed that the coalition is taking all operational procedures and best practices of rules of engagement to deal with these aircraft to protect civilians.

He pointed out that the repeated terrorist attempts of the militias express their despair and confirm the criminality of Iran's proxies in the region and who is behind them, and the continued adoption of fake successes through its misleading media confirms the magnitude of the losses it receives and the state of popular discontent towards it.

Al-Maliki stressed the continued leadership of the joint coalition forces to implement deterrent measures against these terrorist militias to neutralize and destroy these capabilities and strictly in accordance with international humanitarian law, and that these hostile and terrorist acts to target civilian objects and civilians will be countered thanks to the coalition's capabilities.

During July and August, coalition forces intercepted and destroyed a number of drones fired by the Houthi militia towards the Saudi regions of Abha and Jizan.
