It is noted that the exercises were held in the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District, deployed in the Amur Region, Khabarovsk Territory and Jewish Autonomy.
It is also reported that the T-80BV tanks were first involved in the exercises.
"The maneuvers were defensive in nature with the implementation of rapid counterattacks," - stated in the text.
On August 23, in the Volgograd Region, planned exercises of radiation, chemical, and biological defense troops took place.
