According to the representative of the Iranian government, Hezbollah’s Secretary General Hassan Nasrullah made it clear that the Israeli side’s actions “will not go unanswered.”
He added that Tehran condemns any aggression by Israel against the countries of the region, and also recognizes the right of Iraq, Lebanon and Syria to self-defense.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced air strikes on several "terrorist" Iranian targets near Damascus in Syria.
