Google and Dell have unveiled a Chromebook laptop that targets corporate employees because of its shared organizational and security features, making Chromebook suitable for the business environment, especially IT professionals.

The partnership has yielded the Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook and Dell Latitude 530 Chromebook 2-in-1 (PC and Smartphone), and although the names are not yet confirmed, the new devices are based on current models of Dell Latitude laptops, except for Chrome. From Google.

Although there is a Chrome logo on the keyboard and the operating system based on Google, the two new laptops are almost identical to their existing Latitude counterparts from Dell.

They share a nice black design similar to popular Dell computers. These Chromebooks have comfortable keyboards, and use an improved Chrome layout, so you find the language button instead of the Windows Start key.

The Chromebook 5300 and Chromebook 5400 use 13 and 14-inch screens respectively, both of which are powered by Full HD technology.

Powered by the Intel Core i7 processor, they will be the first Chromebooks to offer up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of static storage.

Power in programs
What makes these devices different from existing Chromebooks are the things that work behind the scenes to meet the needs of IT departments.

The new devices include a new Chrome for Business Environment (Chrome Enterprise Upgrade) update, which enables it to take advantage of Google's new Chrome OS controller, which offers ten times faster loading times.

This will allow the modules' administrators to work on Kleinox technology systems through Chromebooks for the first time, allowing them to grant access to specific users, as well as providing VBN support for internal files.

The new laptops are available for order starting August 27, and start at $ 699 for $ 5,400 and $ 819 for the 5,300.

For ordinary users these devices may be higher than their needs, but for businesses and technicians these devices may be all they need nowadays.
