Protests against G7 in France: "We want real change"

The protesters claim that the G7 countries are no longer qualified to represent the world and that the world needs alternative plans.

- G7 has gathered the most important contributors to our current social and climate crisis. They did nothing to change the situation and on the contrary aggravated the problems. So we came here to express our opposition to this system. We want real changes for society and the ecology, says Yann, one of the protesters.

The global relief organization Oxfam has also been on site in Biarritz to do a counter-installation. The portrayed G7 leaders as firefighters who "drive" inequality.
