This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
“Met with Emanuel Macron on the G7 fields in Biarritz after extensive negotiations with (French Foreign Minister. - RT ) Jean-Yves Le Drian and the Minister of Economics and Finance,” he wrote on his Twitter.
Zarif also noted the importance of further negotiations between the countries.
“The upcoming path is not easy, but it’s worth trying to go along it,” he stressed.
Earlier it was reported that negotiations between Zarif and Jean-Yves Le Drian began on the fields of G7.
Zarif flew to Biarritz on August 25.
According to the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the visit took place at the invitation of the French side to discuss the nuclear deal.
