The alarm was ringed at 9am on Sunday morning. The house that is burning is located on Knappmålavägen, in south Lindås outside Emmaboda.
- It is a fully developed fire in what is believed to be a fate house. The house is flared, so we let it burn down. We are working to limit the spread, says Carl Ekstrand, alarm operator at the Security and Alarm Center in Kalmar.
Two forces from Emmaboda and Vissefjärda are in place and are monitoring the fire. According to the alarm center, there is currently no risk of spreading to nearby buildings.
