24 August 2019Emanuele Trevi with "Sogni e favole" (Ponte alle Grazie), Renato Minore with "O caro pensiero" (Aragno) and Saverio Ricci with "Tommaso Campanella" (Salerno publisher) are the three winners, respectively of the narrative, poetry sections and non-fiction, of the 90th edition of the Literary Prize Viareggio-Rèpaci 2019, which took place tonight at the Principino di Viareggio (Lucca). Giovanna Cristina Vivinetto author of "Dolore minima" (Interlinea) received the Viareggio Opera Prima Award.

The winners were proclaimed by the jury chaired by Simona Costa and composed of Maria Pia Ammirati, Marino Biondi, Luciano Canfora, Ennio Cavalli, Marcello Ciccuto, Franco Contorbia, Francesca Dini, Paolo Fabbri, Piero Gelli, Emma Giammattei, Sergio Givone, Giovanna Ioli , Giuseppe Leonelli, Mario Graziano Parri, Gabriele Pedullà, Federico Roncoroni, Anna Maria Torroncelli, Costanza Geddes da Filicaia (literary secretary).

During the evening, led by the writer Paolo Di Paolo, five special prizes were also awarded to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Award. The Viareggio 90 Special Prize was awarded to the maestro Riccardo Muti, the Journalist Award to Eugenio Scalfari (he could not be present and he received the Luigi Vicinanza award, editorial co-editor of Gedi News Network for him), the President of the Jury Prize at jurist Sabino Cassese, the Città di Viareggio Prize to the singer-songwriter Gino Paoli and the international Prize "Viareggio-Versilia" to the director Marco Bellocchio.
