“The employees of the patrol police response group found the damaged bust of Nikolai Prikhodko on Olesya Gonchar Street of the regional center on August 24 ... The investigative-operational group on the spot found that the unknown man had beaten off the head of the bust to the Soviet partisan,” the statement said.

It is specified that the police opened a criminal case on the fact of the incident. In addition, according to the decision of the City Council of Zdolbunov, a decision was made to dismantle the monument and transfer it to the district museum.

Earlier in Poltava, unknown vandals desecrated a monument to General Nikolai Vatutin.
