Two years ago, the police contacted the county administrative board because they discovered that the woman did not take care of her horses. A veterinarian then found that a horse had a nylon strap attached behind his neck. The strap had caused a wound that smelled bad. Several horses also lacked water and were thin in the hole.

The County Administrative Board has followed this up several times to ensure that the deficiencies were rectified, but the horse owner has not cooperated or done anything about the problems.

Have sold the horses

In October last year, the woman was convicted of animal cruelty because a horse had a strap severely stretched behind her neck and now she also receives an animal ban from the county administrative board.

The woman says she has sold all horses and opposes an animal ban, but the county administrative board nevertheless considers that an animal ban is necessary.
