The popularity of Emmanuel Macron (34%) and Edouard Philippe (38%) is stable over a month, according to a BVA poll released Friday.

The Head of State is exactly at the same level as at the end of July, with 66% (=) of respondents who have a bad opinion of him.

The Prime Minister loses 1 point of good opinion and 62% (+2) of French respondents have a negative opinion of him, according to this survey for Orange, RTL and La Tribune.

Critical judgments against them progress however against supporters of the left, including the Socialist Party, whether Emmanuel Macron (-11 points of good opinion among relatives of the PS) or Edouard Philippe (- 16).

The popularity of the executive couple returns to its August 2018 level, but the trend was then sharply down in full Benalla case.

While 40% of French respondents say they are opposed to the action of the head of state and government and 16% say support, 44% expect to see what the results before pronouncing.

Nicolas Hulot (40%, -4) remains at the top of personalities whose French want them to have more influence, ahead of Nicolas Sarkozy (27%, -1) and Marine Le Pen (27%, +1). Xavier Bertrand loses 5 points to 25%.

Survey conducted online from August 21 to August 22 with 966 people aged 18 and over, according to the quota method. Margin of error from 1.4 to 3.1 points.
