“As for the work on joining Belarus to the WTO, it is entering the final stage, there are fewer and fewer unresolved issues,” RIA Novosti quoted Rumas as saying.

He noted that Belarus had already accepted all the WTO obligations while still not being a member of the organization.

The prime minister added that those countries that work with Belarus and at the same time establish barriers as with a state that is not a member of the WTO, then will have to obey the general rules.

On January 22, the WTO called mid-2020 the real time by which Belarus could complete all the necessary procedures for joining the WTO.
