Following threats to Linköping University, all campus areas are now vacated.

- There has been a threat to LiU during the night and morning. It has been postulated with threatening messages on the Valla campus. The threat has been investigated by the police and we have had contact with the police and after consultation with the police they have gradually assessed the threat as increasingly serious. In my role as University Director, I have decided to include all of our premises in our operations, says Kent Waltersson, University Director.

- What we have done is about doing as well as possible for our students. Have gone out with information to all employees via sms and via mail and have now gathered the crisis management that we have and of course informed all the people involved in our area. We will post information in our channels if and when we know more. But as a precaution, we have decided that we need to leave our premises.

- We have gathered crisis management and will follow this further and will follow up with the police so that the business ends.
